At Ashdon, everything we do is guided by our three core values: Challenge, Care, and Celebrate.
Challenge
We provide a rich, ambitious curriculum driven by four key priorities:
-
Exposure, Opportunities and Aspirations – broadening horizons and igniting curiosity through diverse experiences
-
Reading and Oracy – developing strong communication and comprehension skills across all learning
-
Physical Development – building confident movement, co-ordination, and early writing foundations
-
Resilience and Respect – fostering the characteristics of effective learning
Our pupils experience engaging mixed-age learning, regular sports competitions, rich cultural opportunities, and strong community partnerships.
Care
With just 58 pupils, every child is truly known and valued. We deliver our curriculum with:
-
Personalised teaching tailored to each child's needs
-
Nurturing relationships between staff, pupils, and families
-
A supportive family atmosphere where older children mentor younger ones
-
Wraparound care through breakfast and after-school clubs for working families
Celebrate

Success in all its forms, not just outcomes
